The original CCT is the 1st Gen CCT. There was a recall on the 1st Gen CCT, which was the same basic design with an supposedly improved tension spring inside. The only way to distinguish between the two visually was by the number of pink dots on the CCT body -- one pink dot on the original CCT and 3 pink dots on the 1st recall on the original 1st Gen CCT.
The 2nd recall introduced the new 2nd Gen CCT design. It was a totally new design ... hence the 2nd Generation CCT. Lots of people get confused and think the oil lined CCT is the "3rd Gen" but it's not ... there is no such thing as a "3rd Gen CCT".

Оригинальный натяжитель 99-01 это натяжитель первого поколения 1st Gen CCT c пружиной. Его меняли на новый, такой же с пружиной, но усилинный, на нем нанесено три розовые точки.
Потом был второй отзыв.
И стали устанавливять новый гидронатяжитель 2nd Gen CCT design с маслянной магистралью.
И проблема окончательно была решена.
